What is wrong with people these days??

I have a few things I would like to professionally touch upon this evening.

A. Fuck NASCAR.

B. I am a new fan of Nantucket Nectar's Pomegranate Pear. I highly recommend it. How can you go wrong with a 110 calories of deliciousness?

C. Whats up with people locking other people up in their basements?

D. Miley Cyrus is not even cute. Half naked or not.

E. I love the government, and particularly their recent contribution to the Colleen is really fucking poor Fund.

F. I still hate the "new" crazy Tom Cruise. What happened to the Tom from Risky Business or Top Gun? It's like I had a dog and he died and my mum bought another one that looks just like it but sucks.

I would now like to profile someone currently in my life.

Katie

Miami, Fl

20

I met Katie at college. She was incredibly innocent at the beginning of our college career. Never kissed, drank, smoked or anything that is fun. However, now I like to refer to her as my P.I.C. (Partners in Crime). She is up for everything, like me. She went from never having drank alcohol to being one of my favorite people to blackout with. This is not to say she is not an intellectual. She is quite smart. But I do not judge friends on their general intelligence. I do judge on the amount of fun I have with them. Anyone who will run a naked lap after losing a bet is cool in my book. We have coined many life phrases to live by. For example, "I'm just going with it." She does live quite far from my home, in New England. Nevertheless, I do not think this will be a problem in maintaining a lifelong friendship. I am already hoping for an open bar at her future wedding to a man she has yet to meet.

Tampon It.

So during my daily blog intake today, I found a hillarious article that I think all girls should read. I am a fan of jezebel, and I stumbled upon this article about tampons. To be honest, I do not flush my tampons down the toilet. Not that all of my hopefully future fans need to know this. But I don't not flush them for any particular reason. Just a formed habit I am sure I aquired from viewing the trash barrel next to my childhood toilet, where my mother disposed of her tampons. But I think that Moe, is on the right track. It is bad enough we have to stick a giant cylindrical shaped cotton ball up our vagina's for 3-7 days. But do we really have to listen to people bitch about where we dispose of them? I'm sure I subconciously choose the barrel, for fear of embaressment if a clog was to ensue. But if you choose to flush, flush away.

White & Likes.

I stumbled upon this hillarious blog. So being white (to the best of my knowledge), I decided to play along and pick out what applys to me.

#1. Coffee (This would be more applicable under things I need, however I do enjoy it greatly)
#6. Organic Food (This should fall under #48)
#7. Diversity
#11. Asian Girls (I have an affliction towards all Asian people)
#13. Tea (This one is my grandmothers fault)
#14. Having Black Friends (I grew up in a VERY urban area [a.k.a. white = minority], and why is having black friends, something white people like... I hope black people like this to?)
#19. Traveling
#23. Microbreweries (" ")
#24. Wine (I like anything that gets me drunk...)
#25. David Sedaris (Once again, not fair, because I just enjoy a little light reading every now and then_
#31. Snowboarding
#33. Marijuana (I dont think this has to be with being white...)
#36. Breakfast Places (I've always had a thing for french toast, and breakfast sausage)
#41. Indie Music (but not restricted to this and only this)
#42. Sushi (this one shouldn't count due to it falls under "Japan," if you ask me)
#48. Whole Foods and Grocery Co-ops (I feel required to add this due to it's my employment)
#49. Vintage
#50. Irony
#51. Living By The Water
#53. Dogs
#54. Kitchen Gadgets
#56. Lawyers (I don't know if hopeful future professions count as a 'like')
#57. Juno (I can't help it that I have a thing for Michael Cera...)
#58. Japan (I love Yuumi<3)
#61. Bicycles (Mostly my sick beach cruiser)
#65. Co-Ed Sports
#68. Michel Gondry (-Dave Chappelle's Block Party)
#69. Mos Def
#71. Being The Only White Person Around
#72. Study Abroad
#73. Gentrification

I think this makes me 42.6% White.
Not too shabby.

lego my preggo eggo

Apparently, the new fashion is teen pregnancy.
Who would have known my mum was ahead of the pack in fashion?

TOP: The new face of the popular trend of teen pregnancy.
BOTTOM: My mother, Susan, pregnant with me, her third child. [No longer a teen.] And my aunt Lainey Painey, pregnant with her second child, and definitely not a teen. [She was never very fashionable.]

"Hold on, I'm on my hamburger phone"

Lately, I have had a small obsession with sunglasses. They can be a vital part of an outfit. Unfortunately, I have to wear glasses at all times due to lack of 20/20 vision. Which means my sunglasses also have to be prescription. Currently I am the proud owner of these Ralph Lauren aviator style sunglasses...
Aviators are always a good call. They are cute, but a little spicy. I love the new spin on 80's style sunglasses that is currently in style right now. In the movie Juno, the main character played by Ellen Page wears a very cute pair. I can not find a picture from that scene for the life of me. But if I do I will be sure to post it because they are super cute.
Juno has a crazy sense of style. At first looks it seems lazy and just thrown together, but at second glance you can see her essence. Her style is completely perfect for her all-over-the-place-but-secretly-knows-whats-she-wants-personality.
This movie was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The soundtrack is amazing. It could be compared to that of Garden State. Nothing backs up the amazingness of a movie better then a phenomenal soundtrack. I will be highly anticipating the release of this soundtrack. Apparently, the hard copy will be available January 15th. But you can already purchase it virtually on iTunes?
Speaking of things recommended, I would also highly recommend Brighams coffee with fudge swirled ice cream. It is a personal favorite of mine at the moment.
